More good news in this big week for (extremely) famous babies: Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West’s new son is here!

The baby boy was born into the royal family of Calabasas via surrogate on Friday, May 10, joining older siblings North (age 5), Saint (age 3), and Chicago (1). And according to Kardashian, now a mom-of-four and an aspiring lawyer, the baby boy – whose name we are still waiting on (though we know it apparently won’t involve a “direction,” his mom revealed) – is “perfect.”

News broke Friday morning that the surrogate carrying Kardashian and West’s fourth child was in labor, just days after Kardashian appeared at the 2019 Met Gala in New York City. Late last month, Kardashian and her family celebrated the upcoming birth through a CBD-themed baby shower that focused on all things meditation and relaxation.

Kardashian and West confirmed in January that they were expecting their fourth child — their second to be born via surrogate, after Kardashian West endured difficult high-risk pregnancies (with dangerous complications including preeclampsia) with her first two children. At the time, Kardashian West told Andy Cohen during an episode on Watch What Happens Live: “It’s a boy. It’s out there. I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party, and I told some people, but I can’t remember who I told.” The confirmation came less than two weeks after Us Weekly reported the couple were expecting another child (and that it was a boy).

Congratulations to the Kardashian-Wests!
