Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Tom Lawlor are set to face off later this month.
It was announced today that Smith Jr. vs. Lawlor will be taking place at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport II in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday, September 14. The show is taking place at Showboat Atlantic City.
Bloodsport features hybrid MMA style pro wrestling matches. This will be the third Bloodsport event that Game Changer Wrestling has put on. They partnered with Matt Riddle for the first Bloodsport show in 2018 and with Barnett for their second one earlier this year.
Smith Jr. defeated Killer Kross at Barnett’s Bloodsport I. Lawlor lost to WALTER at Riddle’s Bloodsport.
Allysin Kay vs. Nicole Savoy and Simon Grimm (Simon Gotch) vs. Anthony Carelli (the former Santino Marella) have also been announced for Barnett’s Bloodsport II.
Josh Barnett vs. Jon Moxley was supposed to headline Barnett’s Bloodsport II, but Moxley had to be pulled from the match due to the case of MRSA in his elbow that also caused him to miss All Out. Barnett will still be wrestling at the show, though his new opponent has yet to be announced.
Barnett’s Bloodsport II will stream live as an iPPV on Fite TV.
