Another name can be added to Impact’s long list of departures this year. As reported throughout the week, James Storm’s contract with Impact Wrestling is set to expire in January, but his last night with the company took place during last night’s tapings since the shows being taped will cover the next few months. Pro Wrestling Sheet uploaded a video of Storm bidding the crowd farewell, and they claim that his departure is legitimate. Storm thanked Dixie Carter, Jeff Jarrett, and Bob Ryder, and he has reportedly left Impact due to “multiple reasons.” As of today, Storm is free to negotiate wherever he chooses, but there is no word on where he may end up at the moment.
After leaving WWE, Jonathan Coachman had been working as a broadcaster on ESPN for several years. It was reported recently that ESPN would be laying off around 100 workers after Thanksgiving, but Jonathan Coachman announced on Twitter this week that he is officially done with ESPN. Fans have been speculating Coachman’s departure for a while now, but it looks like he is now done completely with the network. Coachman is teasing that he has other projects that he will be working on and he will reveal what those projects are soon. At this moment, there is no word on what the future holds for the now former WWE and ESPN broadcaster.
Yes I? will be. Several projects in the works. When I? can discuss I? will. But it was just time to leave espn. Professional and personal reasons. But I? feel great and this show is for fun and to stay sharp. https://t.co/zw0Y9omDUj

There has been a lot of speculation concerning Hideo Itami’s future in WWE lately. Reports this week confirmed that WWE is considering bringing Itami up to the main roster as part of the cruiserweight division. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter echoed those previous reports, but they also claimed that there is interest on Itami’s side to go back to Japan. Hideo Itami is apparently considering going back to Japan after his contract with WWE expires. Itami made a name for himself as KENTA before coming to NXT, but he has had little to no success. He is still rumored to join 205 Live though, so we’ll have to wait and what the next chapter in Itami’s career will be.
