— According to Justin Barrasso at Sports Illustrated, Dean Malenko is gone from WWE after quitting his role as a backstage agent/producer – a position he had been in for many years. PWInsider notes that while it is true that Malenko is gone from WWE, it isn’t actually confirmed that he quit. Their report states that over the last six months, WWE has brought in multiple new producers and this has led to some of the more tenured producers being cycled out. The implication here is that Malenko may have been a victim of this cycle and thus, may not have actually quit but been transitioned out.

— PWInsider also reports that Dave Schilling – who was recently hired as a new member of the creative team – is already gone from the company but there is no mention of the circumstances surrounding his departure. Vince McMahon noted on his Q1 conference call that the writing team for WWE has been revamped, which he hopes helps lead to better overall viewership and financial numbers for the company over the rest of 2019.
