Shayna Baszler’s historic reign as NXT Women’s Champion has finally come to an end. The “Queen of Spades” dropped her title to Rhea Ripley in the main event of Wednesday night’s show on the USA Network, bringing her run to a close at 415 days.

Baszler won the title at WWE Evolution in October 2018, becoming the first person in history to do so twice. While she ultimately did not pass the all-time record set by Asuka at 522 days, it can not be argued that the MMA veteran-turned-pro wrestler set a new standard in the quality of her defenses.
