It was revealed after tonight’s WWE NXT went off the air that referee Jessika Carr has had her final night as a member of the black-and-yellow brand.
After the show’s main event, Tommaso Ciampa took the microphone to reveal to the Full Sail University crowd that Carr was leaving WWE NXT and would be making a “lateral move” to work this week’s Friday Night Smackdown on FOX.
This led to a standing ovation and a “Thank you Jess” chant as Ciampa praised her for being a pioneer, a fantastic referee, and a gem of a person. Her fellow WWE NXT officials then came down to ringside and Triple H also appeared.
An inspiration for women everywhere.
