It appears that WWE’s planned match for Cain Velasquez at the WWE Mexico event at the end of the month is no longer going ahead.
WWE had previously advertised that Velasquez would be teaming with Rey Mysterio to take on Andrade and Drew McIntyre, but in a recent advertisement, that match is no longer being listed and instead Velasquez is simply just billed to appear.
Of course, the card is always subject to change, which is why the match has been taken down, and there is a chance that it could be added back in the future.
This isn’t the only change to the event as the previously announced main event steel cage match between The Fiend and Seth Rollins has also been altered, with The Fiend now taking on The Miz.
As well as that WWE has pulled Sasha Banks and Bayley from the show, as they were set to face Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, who will instead now be challenging the Kabuki Warriors, while The New Day vs The Revival has also been added to the show.
