1. Volador Jr., Titan, TJP & Clark Connors def. Jushin Thunder Liger, Tiger Mask, Ryusuke Taguchi & Yuya Uemura

2. El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori def. Rocky Romero & Robbie Eagles

3. Shingo Takagi, SANADA & EVIL def. Lance Archer, Minoru Suzuki & Zack Sabre Jr.

— This was a giant brawl and after the match they kept it going. Lance Archer gets on the mic and says he wants David Finlay for the U.S. title at the upcoming show in San Jose next weekend. Suzuki and EVIL continued to beat the hell out of each other and smack each other with weapons and pieces of the barricade, while Zabre Jr. was attacking the referee and random Young Lions who tried to stop him.

4. Hiroshi Tanahashi & Kota Ibushi def. Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI

— After the match, a creepy video with clips of Tanahashi and actual rock stars aired. It ended up being a tease for… Chris Jericho! Jericho got right down to business, and issued the challenge for The Painmaker vs. The Ace on January 5th, at the second night of Wrestle Kingdom.

5. Tetsuya Naito def. Taichi

6. Roppongi 3K def. El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru to win the 2019 Super Jr. Tag League Finals

— Immediately after RPG 3K won the tournament and were given the trophies for the third year in a row, they were attacked by reigning champions El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori. The Bullet Club stars beat the hell out of SHO and YOH, who had just been absolutely brutalized for about 15-20 minute, and then took their trophies and left with them, pretending as if they had won themselves. Looks like we’ve got our juniors tag title match at the Dome!

7. KENTA (c) def. Tomohiro Ishii to retain the NEVER Openweight title

8. Will Ospreay (c) def. BUSHI to retain the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight title

— Ospreay won with Stormbreaker in a great 16-minute match. Afterwards he got on the mic and ran down the laundry list of names he’s beaten. BUSHI, El Phantasmo, SHO, Amazing Red, Tanahashi, KENTA, SANADA, Dragon Lee. Who is going to give him a real challenge?

— Lights out. A countdown clock started on the tron and when it hit zero… Hiromu Takahashi is here!! The long-awaited return of the injured LIJ star is upon us, as he walks down the apron with a neck brace on. Hiromu suddenly ripped the brace off and rushed ringside, passing out little Darryls to all the commentators. He thanked the fans for waiting, said he knows it’s been a long time, but it’s finally time to make the juniors division fun again! He sarcastically talked about having to slow down and work safer, before throwing himself down and bumping everywhere. He told Ospreay he may be the strongest and best out there now, but Hiromu is back and wants the title… at Wrestle Kingdom! The two hug before Hiromu thanks him and meows like a cat (it used to drive Ospreay INSANE that Hiromu thought he was Mr. Cat).

9. Jay White (c) def. Hirooki Goto to retain the IWGP Intercontinental title

— After the match, the Blade Runner talked trash about his opponent and said he was going to become a double champion at Wrestle Kingdom. Tetsuya Naito came out and reminded us that that was his goal originally. Kota Ibushi is out next to make things even more interesting. He ALSO has plans to become a double champion at the Dome, but there is one more… The crowd wants Okada, and the Rainmaker is here! Basically Okada talks for a bit and says maybe they should all ask the fans and put it all to an official vote, and see what they want to see on both nights of the Dome. No definitive answer made here, as Naito lets Jay WHite have his moment and leaves him in the ring to end the show.
