WWE United States Champion Jeff Hardy has been working with a pinched nerve as of late, which is causing him numbness in his fingers. Hardy recently returned from torn rotator cuff surgery which kept him out of action since the fall of last year.

Backstage News On Character Plans for Lio Rush On WWE 205 Live

As noted, WWE announced earlier this week that NXT star Lio Rush will soon be making his main roster debut on WWE 205 Live.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, plans are for Rush to be a heel on the 205 Live brand, and he will be playing a “rich, playboy” type character. While Rush had been paired up with Babatunde in NXT, it does not appear that the big man will be joining Rush on the main roster.

The report furthers that WWE officials had been discussing the idea of moving Rush to the 205 Live brand soon after he made his NXT debut, and despite the comments Rush made regarding Emma’s release, which garnered him a considerable amount of backstage heat in WWE, officials remained steadfast in plans for Rush.
