ZACK RYDER vs. MOJO RAWLEY
A pissed off Ryder came out of the gates throwing quick dropkicks and getting the fans all fired up. He took the fight right to his former partner with wild rights and lefts in the corner, but spent a bit too much time playing to the crowd and turned around into a big boot. Mojo slowed things down a bit with some methodical offense, dumping Ryder over the ropes as we cut to a brief commercial.
During the break Rawley nearly drove his opponent through the barricade with a huge tackle, before rolling things back into the ring and applying a side headlock on the mat. Ryder started feeling it and tried to work his way out of the hold, but was quickly put back down with another big boot. Mojo begins toying with the former Hype Bro, slapping him in the face and screaming “where is your killer instinct!?” Ryder fires up and throws a few quick jabs, which pumps up Rawley as well and the two starting teeing off on each other. Broski Boot connects in the corner, but it’s not enough to get the pin and Mojo quickly turned the tide with a dirty chop block to the knee. The big guy found a brutal running elbow strike in the corner, and that’s all she wrote.
