THE BARBARIANS’ 27-24 win against Samoa on Saturday will likely be remembered only for the Olympic Stadium sprinklers going off, but this behind-the-scenes video from inside the Baa Baa’s dressing room is pretty cool.

The Barbarians brought a video camera into the changing room, recording the team’s preparation, capturing the pre-game team talks of captain Bakkies Botha and head coach Jamie Joseph, as well as the half-time words from coach Carlos Spencer.

Joseph’s speech was particularly interesting, encouraging those who had missed out on World Cup selections to either prove their doubters wrong, or prove them right.

And afterwards, we also got to see the camaraderie the Baa Baas are famous for, as Botha and his troops share a beer (or two) together, soaking up the win.
