A tactical disagreement between Peter Bosz and Alexandre Lacazette (31) has led to a confrontation between the pair, according to Foot Mercato.

Lacazette only returned to his former side this summer, arriving on a free after his contract at Arsenal expired. The French striker scored in the club’s recent pre-season victory against Feyenoord after the club had lost previous matches against Anderlecht and Willem II.

However, despite getting things back on track on the pitch, behind the scenes there is discord. Foot Mercato reports that at half-time during that match against Feyenoord, Bosz and Lacazette had a “disagreement” over tactics.

Bosz had asked Lacazette for a certain positioning to which the latter did not adhere. During the confrontation, he “received the backing of his team-mates” some of whom neither understand all of Bosz’s instructions nor his game plan. Whilst the confrontation wasn’t “over the top” nor was it “trivial.”
