Journalist Fabrice Hawkins reports tonight that Inter Milan are one of the clubs to be interested in Paris Saint-Germain forward Arnaud Kalimuendo, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Lens.

The forward’s family were even invited to go see a match in Milan several weeks ago, with the likelihood being that the French youth international will not stay on at PSG despite incoming manager Christophe Galtier’s interest in the forward during his time at Nice.

Among the other clubs interested in bringing in the 20-year-old, Leeds have submitted an offer of around €20m, as initially reported by The Independent, which could also include a buy-back clause. Lens are also said to be looking to have him back for a third season.

Kalimuendo reportedly also turned down an approach from the newly-promoted Premier League side Nottingham Forest. This past season has seen the Frenchman score 13 goals in all competitions for the Artois side, who just about missed out on a place in Europe. The previous season’s tally was 8.
