As reported by Foot Mercato, PSG are set to replace outgoing sporting director Leonardo with two appointments in Luis Campos and Antero Henrique.
After months of speculation over his future, Leonardo left the SD position at the club for the second time in the QSI era yesterday as Kylian Mbappé agreed a new contract and the club celebrated their tenth Ligue 1 title. Leonardo was the first victim of what are expected to be sweeping changes at PSG.

Luis Campos, who engineered the building of both Monaco and Lille’s squads before their recent Ligue 1 title wins, was the priority for Mbappé and the club to replace Leonardo after, say the outlet, his name emerged in talks between PSG and Mbappé’s entourage earlier this year. Campos, whose time at Monaco overlapped with Mbappé’s, has a strong relationship with the Paris and France striker and was also being courted by Real Madrid, with a view to Mbappé joining the Spanish club.
Henrique is another former PSG sporting director and was responsible for signing Mbappé in 2017. Despite his departure in 2019, Henrique has remained in contact with the PSG hierarchy and senior officials in Qatar and is set to be paired with Campos, who has yet to sign his deal with Paris. Campos will oversee wider recruitment while Henrique, who will be based in Doha, will be tasked with selling a long list of players considered to be outside the club’s plans, something Leonardo failed to do.
