As reported by L’Équipe, Montpellier’s young centre-back Maxime Estève has extended his contract with the club.
Having impressed after an extended run in the side at the start of the season before a troublesome injury halted his rise, the 19-year-old only signed his first professional deal with MHSC a few months ago but his form has encouraged the club to extend that deal already.
The length of the extension has not been released.
Roma and AC Milan were reportedly keen on Estève with Milan considering an approach for the defender at the end of the January window.
