Journalist Saber Desfarges reports today that Metz midfielder Amine Bassi is set to be loaned out to Championship side Barnsley, amid a lack of playing time with the Ligue 1 side.
The 24-year-old will join the English side on a six-month deal, with no permanent option being included in the transfer.
The former Morocco youth international moved from regional rivals Nancy last summer, having spent four seasons with the first team after finishing his youth development there.
