L’Équipe report that newly-promoted pair of Premier League sides Norwich and Aston Villa are in concrete talks to sign goalkeeper Edouard Mendy from Stade de Reims.
After three years with SDR, the goalkeeper is open to a new challenge, having had an outstanding season in Ligue 1 in 2018/19.
In France, Marseille, Rennes and Montpellier are all interested in signing the Reims shot-stopper.
But at the beginning of this week, the two English clubs contacted Reims directly to sign the 27-year-old.
