Speaking to BeIN Sports, Frenchman Arsène Wenger discussed Kylian Mbappé’s performance against Argentina.
“From the start, he went to attack the Argentinians. He was practically dangerous the entire time and when he needed to be decisive he was. We must not forget that he is only 19. We need to look back and realise that he is at this level at this age. It is exceptional what he has achieved… When he was 17 he played for Monaco and he had incredible statistics. When those statistics are there when the person is that age, it means that there is effectiveness as well as very, very young talent. It shows that he is part of the breed of the 5-6 superb, great players who will dominate the world.”
