As noted, Stephanie McMahon issued a Tweet yesterday announcing WWE had won three Cynopsis Model D Awards, and today WWE.com issued the following:

“WWE was named the winner of three awards at the fifth annual Cynopsis Model D Awards: Best SVOD Service, Best New Web Series and Best Category-Specific YouTube Channel for WWE on YouTube.

WWE Network won the award for Best SVOD Service, beating out Showtime Now and Fullscreen. “My Son/Daughter is a WWE Superstar” won Best New Web series, besting Nickelodeon’s “The After Party” and IFC’s “Frank and Lamar.” WWE on YouTube was also honored for Best Category-Specific YouTube Channel in a highly-competitive category that also featured Lip Sync Battle on YouTube, NBA on TNT on YouTube and Handmade by HGTV.

Additionally, WWE EVP of Digital and Social Content Jayar Donlan was honored by making Cynopsis Media’s Digital IT List.”
