L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 side Rennes are considering returning to training next week, despite the LFP’s decision from last week to terminate the 2019/20 campaign.

The idea would be to return to training in small groups from Monday until the end of May, before instituting another 3-4 weeks of holiday before pre-season for 2020/21 gets underway.

Per existing French government guidelines, this should be given the green light. However, Rennes have yet to make a final decision.
