RMC and Soccer Link report that Premier League side Newcastle United have today concluded an agreement with Ligue 1 club OGC Nice to sign 22-year-old French youth international winger Allan Saint-Maximin.

Lee Charnley led a Newcastle delegation in talks with Les Aiglons today in Nice to complete a deal, which is €18m + a set of considerable bonuses, with €4m of those bonuses said to be easily obtainable.

Saint-Maximin has already agreed personal terms over a 6-year contract with the Magpies.

This was NUFC’s 3rd formal offer, having had bids worth €16m and €18m knocked back respectively.

Nice-Matin report this evening that the Frenchman will undergo a medical with Newcastle tomorrow.
