Huge Jason Jordan Update, Murphy Returns, Kong Undergoing Surgery

One of the fastest rising stars in WWE right now is Jason Jordan, or at least he was before he had to miss several months of action due to a neck injury. Jordan had been receiving a huge push ever since he was revealed to be Kurt Angle’s kayfabe son. He was reportedly set to enter a top feud for WrestleMania this year as well, but those plans had to be scrapped. Jordan has been working hard to return to the ring ever since he received his injury, and PWInsider has just reported that the young wrestler is very close to making his return. There is still no word on when Jordan is expected to be back competing on WWE television, but he could be going back on the road to compete at WWE live events again starting as early as next week.
The 205 Live roster has expanded to include some of the best cruiserweight talent available ever since Drake Maverick took over as the General Manager for the brand. Prior to last night’s edition of 205 Live, Maverick revealed on Twitter that a member of the cruiserweight division would be making his return to the show. Buddy Murphy returned to 205 Live last night. Murphy defeated a local competitor after he was unable to continue the match. Murphy had been disqualified from competing on the show after he went over the 205 pound weight limit. WWE’s “Best Kept Secret” is back now though, and it looks like he may be a potential contender to the Cruiserweight Championship one day.

Awesome Kong has just about done it all in the professional wrestling business. She helped revolutionize women’s wrestling during her original stint in TNA Wrestling. Kong also had a brief stint in WWE under the ring name Kharma before she later joined the cast of the GLOW series on Netflix. Kong just posted a message on her official Instagram account letting her fans know that she is currently in the hospital to undergo back surgery. Kong has had a long history of back issues throughout her career that will hopefully get sorted out as soon as her surgery has been completed.
