— Next Friday’s WWE Smackdown on FOX from Los Angeles is sold out with approximately 14,000 tickets – a great number at a time when attendance for wrestling events is struggling. WWE has already announced legends Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair at the event and according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s still up in the air if Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be appearing. If he does, it obviously will be something that will be “saved for the last minute”, however, not because WWE is trying to keep anything a secret, but rather that the two sides are still trying to work out something, with everything ultimately depending on the Rock’s schedule.
