The daughter of a WWE Hall Of Famer made her NXT debut this weekend.
Rachael Ellering, performing under her WWE ring name of Rachael Evers, had her first match since signing with WWE and reporting to the WWE Performance Center last month at the NXT non-televised live event in St. Petersburg, Florida on Thursday evening.
Ellering teamed up with Deonna Purrazzo, losing to the duo of Mia Yim and Taynara Conti in tag-team action in the third match of the evening at Thursday night’s show at the St. Petersburg Armory.
Evers is a second generation wrestler, as she is the daughter of Paul Ellering. Ellering is the legendary former pro wrestler best known for his run as the manager of The Road Warriors (aka Legion of Doom), whom he was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame with as part of the 2011 class that was inducted during a ceremony at WrestleMania 27 Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia.
Rachael Ellering, who dates WWE Superstar Kassius Ohno in real-life, has worked for such promotions as Impact Wrestling and Shine Wrestling in the past. She has also worked NXT TV tapings as an enhancement talent, and competed in the 2017 and 2018 WWE Mae Young Classic Tournaments.
