Goldberg will be on this coming Monday’s RAW in Denver, CO to promote his upcoming match against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series next month. To update on this, Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the deal between Goldberg and WWE had been in negotiations for approximately three weeks. TMZ first reported that the two sides were talking back in late August.

The deal was reportedly finalized a little over a week ago, and it’s expected that Goldberg will only wrestle that one match. Survivor Series 2016 takes place in Toronto, where Goldberg has historically faced negative reactions from the crowd.

Goldberg’s last pro wrestling match was against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XX in New York City. He made a handful of independent wrestling appearances since then to hit spears on Scott Steiner, but had no full-length matches.
