— Cable provider iNDEMAND has released the promotional posters for WWE’s October pay-per-view events, Hell in a Cell (10/3) and Bragging Rights (10/24). The posters are different from the unofficial posters that have been circulating online in recent weeks, which were fan creations. The Hell in a Cell poster features The Undertaker (view here) and the Bragging Rights poster features The Miz (view here).
— The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been cast in the lead role of “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,” the sequel to 2008’s “Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D.” Johnson will play “the boyfriend of explorer Josh Hutcherson’s mom, who Hutcherson is forced to bring on a trip to a mythical and monstrous island to find his missing grandfather.”
It’s interesting to note that the first “Journey” movie starred actor Brandon Frasier, but he and the studio were unable to agree on the sequel’s filming schedule, so he was replaced. Frasier was the star of the movie which launched Johnson’s movie career back in 2001, The Mummy Returns.
