Fast national ratings for last night’s SmackDown on Fox saw the show’s overall viewership climb 0.2 percent from last week, averaging 2.036 million viewers. It’s the second straight week SmackDown’s viewership has gone up.

SmackDown grew a lot in viewership throughout last night’s show. Hour one averaged 1.963 million viewers, with the show then climbing almost eight percent to 2.109 million in the second hour.

SmackDown drew the same 0.5 overnight rating in the 18-49 demo that it has in seven of the last eight weeks. As it usually does, SmackDown finished second on the networks in 18-49, trailing ABC’s Shark Tank.

In the 18-34 demo, SmackDown was also second on the networks but behind CBS’ Blue Bloods in that category. The 0.3 overnight rating in that demo is the same number SmackDown has done in 13 of the last 14 weeks.

Year-over-year, SmackDown’s overnight viewership was down 14.2 percent from the same week in 2020. The 18-49 demo number was down 16.7 percent year-over-year and the 18-34 demo number was down 25 percent.
